First we start with a sweet. This is called Asoka Halwa. The taste is delicious and it is also good for health.

Things we need

Moong Dal 1 cup
Wheat Flour 1 cup
Sugar 4 cups
Ghee 3 cups
Milk 2 cups
Cardamom 1 tps.
Cashew nuts 10

Cook moong Dal with milk in a pressure cooker. Keep it cool and add sugar in it and place it in a mixe and grind it to paste.

Take thick bottom Kadai and add 1 cup of ghee and Wheat flour fry it 5 minutes. Now add the moong Dal paste and 2 cups of ghee. Mix it well in the medium flame. It will take 15 minutes you get the halwa consistency. If the sides are leaving remove it from the flame and put cardamom powder and fried cashew nuts in it and spread the halwa in a greased plate.
